Learn moreReal-world practice in real traffic. We teach on the roads of Shaker Heights and surrounding communities — from quiet residential streets to busy corridors and highway merging.
Learn moreRedirection Remedial Driving School was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves a patient, supportive teacher behind the wheel — whether this is your first time driving or you're working through something that went wrong.
Located in the heart of Shaker Heights, we've spent years helping local residents regain their independence on the road. Our approach is calm and methodical. We don't rush. We don't raise our voices. We listen, we explain, and we practice until it clicks.
Our certified instructors bring real experience with remedial cases, nervous new drivers, and adult learners returning to the road. Every lesson is tailored to your specific needs — no cookie-cutter curriculum, no one-size-fits-all schedule.
What sets us apart isn't just what we teach — it's how we teach it.
Our instructors are trained to work with anxious, remedial, and adult learners — with empathy, not impatience.
Evenings, weekends, and same-week appointments available. We work around your schedule, not the other way around.
Our vehicles are equipped with dual brakes and mirrors, giving you — and your instructor — peace of mind on every lesson.
A 98% first-time pass rate on the Ohio road test speaks for itself. We prepare you to succeed, not just to pass.
"I had lost my license after an accident and felt completely lost. The team at Redirection didn't just help me get my license back — they helped me feel safe again. I cried after my first lesson because I was so relieved someone was actually patient with me."
"My daughter was terrified of driving. Her instructor made her feel so comfortable that by the third lesson she was asking for extra time on the road. She passed her road test on the first try and couldn't stop smiling. We're so grateful."
"I'm 52 and never learned to drive. I was embarrassed to admit it, but they treated me with such respect. No judgment, no rushing — just steady, clear instruction. Now I drive myself everywhere and it's changed my whole life."
